EPM Live’s online services deliver Enterprise Project Management solutions without the expense of buying a server, setting up a complicated infrastructure and hiring technical staff to maintain it. EPM Live is an online service – all you need is a computer and an Internet connection. With some of the EPM Live solutions, you can use Microsoft Office Project on your desktop to create plans and publish them to your teams using EPM Live.

You can start immediately with an online subscription service and take your solution in-house at any time. An in-house configuration gives you an online workspace powered by Microsoft’s Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 or Microsoft Office Project Server 2007 technology. Learn more

When highly confidential information (such as a credit card number or password) is transmitted over the Internet, EPM Live protects it through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol. Encryption is the process of encoding data to prevent unauthorized access, especially during transmission. Encryption is usually based on one or more keys, or codes, that are essential for decoding, or returning the data to readable form.

Just click the “Sign In” icon in the upper-right area of this page. You will be redirected to a sign-in page. On the sign-in page, click the Sign-In button. After you've entered your username and password, your EPM Live support page is shown; from here you can add workspaces to your subscription. This is your gateway to all of the features included in your subscription. You can also add the sign-in page to your list of Favorites in your browser.

To reset your password, go to the contact us page, you will see “Password Reset” information. Follow the instructions to reset your password.

We do currently offer SSL (https://). Your workspaces will have a security certificate that ensures that the site you are connecting to is a real site and not someone intercepting to get access to personal information.

EPM Live follows the Security Development Lifecycle (SDL) when developing software. The process entails a series of security-focused activities and deliverables during each phase of EPM Live's software development process, including the development of threat models during software design, the use of code-scanning tools during implementation, conducting code reviews, and testing security during a focused "security push". Before software can be released, it must undergo a final security review by an independent development team. Software that has undergone the SDL experiences a significantly reduced rate of security vulnerabilities being discovered.

Access to EPM Live work spaces and applications can be controlled by the site administrator of the site, that is, the person who subscribes to the EPM Live account. Site Administrators can grant access to users through specific levels of permission, such as Visitors, Member, and Administrator. These permission levels are set through the Administration areas of EPM Live. The Site Administrator has full access to set user permissions and to add, modify, and delete information; Editors have full access to add, modify, and delete information; Readers have read-only access to information.

EPM Live uses redundant hardware and software systems to protect against system failures. Redundancy means that EPM Live uses one or more servers on a Web site to perform the same tasks. If one of the servers crashes, another server takes its place. Redundancy ensures that the Web site continues to function and you experience no loss of data if one of the servers stops working.

EPM Live maintains a backup copy of every Workspaces data. The backup copy is one day old at most. A person with Administrator permission can restore the Web site or Business Applications data from the backup at any time through the Administration feature, located within the Workspaces area of EPM Live.
